SiF SilaSeal C – 5L Concentrate

SilaSeal C is a water-based, penetrating silane-siloxane sealer concentrate for porous stone, pavers, concrete and masonry surfaces. It provides resistance to water-based staining while maintaining a transparent, breathable, non-film-forming finish.

Suitable for porous natural stone, pavers, concrete, decorative concrete, limestone and roof tiles.

5L concentrate makes 20L of mixed sealer when diluted with 15L of water.

Dilution

Dilute before application:

1 part SilaSeal C to 3 parts water

For the full bottle, add 15L of water to 5L of concentrate. Add the water to the concentrate and mix well before use.

Application

Read the product information before application. Always test the product on the intended surface to assess suitability before treating the entire area.

1. The surface to be treated should be clean and free of all contaminants.
2. The surface can be damp or wet, however SilaSeal C should not be applied to a surface that has pools of water. Remove pooled water using a broom or cloth before application.
3. Do not apply if rain is expected within 24 hours, extreme weather conditions are expected, or surface temperatures are above 30°C. If necessary, cool the surface with water before application.
4. Dilute the concentrate at the ratio specified above and mix well before use.
5. Apply using a saturated brush, roller, paint pad or low-pressure hand sprayer.
6. Impregnate the surface to saturation point in a single application. Minimise overlapping onto treated areas that have already dried. If overlapping occurs, wipe the sealer from the surface before it dries to reduce the risk of white stains.
7. Do not allow pooling of sealer. Spread pools using a soft-bristled broom.
8. Remove excess sealer before it dries. Excess sealer may cause white stains.
9. Wipe any overspray from adjacent glass, metal or painted surfaces with a damp rag before the sealer dries.
10. Avoid traffic for at least 24 hours. Full curing may take up to 7 days.
11. Clean application equipment with water.
