Do I need to use any chemicals with this system?

• No, this does not require any additional chemicals. Simply scrubbing and rinsing the glass with the right brush and purified water perfectly cleans the windows.

How long does resin last before I need to change it?

• The resin in the 4L DI tank included in this package should last for about 10 hours of normal water-fed cleaning. This estimate is based on a water input with a reading of 100ppm (typical Sydney water) and will vary slightly in every case. 
• If you have cleaner water, the resin will last longer, whereas a higher TDS water supply will use up the resin faster.

Do I need to empty the tank of water when I am finished cleaning?

• No, it is best to leave the tank full of water. You can seal the inlet and outlet with either end of your lead hose, this way the tank is sealed and won't dry out when in storage.

I have scrubbed and rinsed the glass, but there is still spotting on it. What should I do?

• Firstly you need to test the pure water. Using your TDS meter, test the filtered water from the DI Tank, if the reading is above 20ppm, it is time to change the resin. If the water is below 20ppm, the glass may need more scrubbing or rinsing.
