The X-ION Mini Switch is a compact and portable reverse osmosis system, ideal for single-operator water-fed pole setups, especially in high TDS areas such as Western and South Australia. With its straightforward design, it offers consistent performance and is easy to transport and use on the job.

How It Works:

• Pre-Filtration – Tap water is first filtered through a 20" Carbon Filter
• 12v X-ION Pump – Tap pre-filtered water is them pumped to the RO Membranes 
• RO Membranes – The water then passes through 2x RO membranes, removing over 95% of total dissolved solids (TDS).
• DI Polishing – Final filtration is completed with a 2L DI canister, bringing the water down to 0 TDS.

How many water-fed poles can I run off this system?

• This RO is designed for One water water-fed pole kit

How long will the RO membranes last?

• With proper maintenance, the RO membranes may last 2 years or more.

When should I replace the DI resin?

• Replace the resin when the output water from the DI tank exceeds 20 ppm.

How often should I change the carbon filter?

• Inspect regularly. Filter life varies depending on your local water quality. Replace every 3 months with regular use.

What hose size should I use?

• Use hoses with an internal diameter of 8mm or larger. Smaller or very long hoses can restrict water flow and reduce system performance.

Can the system be laid down in a vehicle?

• Yes, the system can be transported lying down, but make sure all ports are securely sealed to prevent leaks.

Can I operate the system while it is lying down?

• No, the system must be upright during operation to function correctly.

Do I need a battery for this system?

• Yes, this pump must be powered by a 12V battery, such as our battery pack or your own compatible 12V power source.
