About this pole

A compact six-section telescopic pole for jobs where a short collapsed length makes handling, storage and transport easier. The SLX Micro 2.5m closes to 56cm and extends to 2.26m.

Which tip should I choose?

• Traditional: the Erkenomic pole tip holds compatible traditional tools such as squeegees and T-bars. The angle adjusts to suit the job. A tool that needs its own branded locking cone may need a different adapter.
• Water-Fed: the hose-style QuicK-LoQ tip connects to a brush fitted with a compatible QuicK-LoQ socket. Its built-in fitting accepts 8mm outside-diameter pole hose.

What else do I need?

The package includes the pole and selected tip. Brush, pole hose and cleaning tools are sold separately.

• Traditional cleaning: add a compatible squeegee or washer/T-bar and your usual cleaning equipment.
• Water-fed cleaning: add a compatible brush, pole hose and the fittings needed to connect to your water supply. For pure-water window cleaning, you also need a suitable pure-water system or an existing pure-water supply.

Length and working reach

The 2.5m model extends to an actual pole length of 2.26m. Working reach also depends on your height, the tool fitted and the working angle; it is not a fixed window height.

Need more length? The SLX Micro 5m extends to 5m and collapses to 95cm.

Care and use

Keep the sections clean and wipe the pole hose as you put it away. Rinse the pole after gritty or sandy work, check clamp adjustment and inspect the overlap markers. Do not extend sections beyond their marked limits. Follow Gardiner’s user guide below for cleaning and servicing.

Carbon fibre conducts electricity. The insulated sections do not make the pole safe near power lines; read Gardiner’s safety guidance before use.
